  • Love the fact that you can access this park not too far from the city and away from cellular reception. The true outdoor experience is to disconnect from technology and enjoy nature at it's best. Alouette Lake is amazing in the summer and the beach gets quite busy by mid morning. Best to come early to sit on a favorite spot on the sunny days. There are many activities that one can participate in such as kayak, canoe, boating, wake boarding, hiking, trail running, cycling, picnic, barbecue, swimming, and more.

  • Went there for two nights of camping with family and friends. Great site, clean. Rangers were helpful and friendly. Toilets rudimentary - as expected - but clean. Stayed in the "dogwood" area and had a great time. Firewood at $10 a bundle was a little expensive (can be obtained at $5 just outside from the residents) but was good quality, dry, and had a good mix of big logs and kindling. Also rented a canoe and kayak for a party of five people at the day area at Alouette Lake and service was fine. Overall a great experience.

  • Beautiful place with amazing views and big lake. The beach is crowded but still nice. The are two parking lots with a lot of space. If you have a small boat, there is a special place to put in on the water and pick it up back on your track. Seems very convinient. Keep in mind that the parking for the waterfall trail and the North beach is super small and you might have to wait.

  • It feels you are hundreds of miles away, and it's not too far from town... there is even the chance of a wildlife encounter. Camping grounds are exactly as needed. You can have a campfire and see the stars. The lake is inviting and the overall experience is peaceful and revitalising
